If you are feeling blue though, how would you know? 
Sometimes it's obvious, we know it, our emotions are all over the place, we cry more often than normal, we feel anxious, we can't sleep - or sleep too much, our appetite is unusual, or our thoughts can spiral out of control without us realising: did you know that suicidal thoughts are actually quite common?  They can feel quite matter of fact, or be a significant turning point for people.  Of course the most important thing anyone can do when they experience out of control thoughts (sometimes referred to as intrusive thoughts) is talk to someone. 
Other times, we don't really realise that our mood is dipping and it can take someone else to point it out, or question us.  Did you know that feeling angry can be a symptom of low mood or depression (to put the medical term on it)? Feeling irritable and taking things out on our nearest and dearest... 
Of course talking about these kinds of feelings can be the hardest thing to do.  But just having a conversation about what's in our heads can be the start of feeling better, relieving some of the pressure that's building up.

Today is Make Your Dreams Come True Day! 
Did you know there was such a thing?  I think it's quite easy to make your dreams come true actually (debate that with me!), for me the tricky thing is pinning the dreams down, identifying what you really want, and then committing to making it happen.  Visualisation is a great way of really engaging with your dreams, doing it and repeating it regularly to get clarity and detail.  Dare to dream and then choose to take bold steps to get you to where you want to be!

I’m feeling anxious I’ll admit, waiting for the government to announce that nurseries will have to close, and so they should if schools are closed, if the virus is that virulent, but if they do, I face serious challenges in working - and so this card shows me making a difficult decision, but blindfolded: I’m as yet lacking information... So here I am trying to stay calm, but knowing really that the situation cannot be avoided. These are such challenging times for us all, regardless of your views about the actual virus itself, we all have to live with the decisions being made to keep us safe. How am I keeping calm? Well, #Pilates has been done, and I’m breathing, and talking to friends and family, sharing some angst and some love ❤️ to keep us all going.
