Here goes – tomorrow begins the challenge of 30 days of fearless living. What does that mean? It means I’m going to do one thing that scares me every day for the next month. Why am I doing this? Because there are things I really want to achieve, and complete, and I keep getting stuck because I’m afraid. I tell myself stories about the worst things that could happen, the judgements people will make about me, and how I might not survive to tell the tales – such is fear.
It’s amazing really, that these stories can have such control over us, and yet they are in our heads. We all have them, but it’s how we choose to respond to them that impacts how we live our lives.
The thing is, if I’m scared, fearful, then I realise that whatever it is, it’s because I want it more. The fear is worth exploration, getting to know, and then moving beyond.
I have made a list of 30 fears, and I will share that list via this blog, every day for the next 30 days. Some of the things I’m afraid of might surprise you, some of them you might feel some fear around too. So hang around, see how I go! Stick your oar in! Try your own 30 day challenge?
